Senior Training & Development Manager
Job Summary:
Alluvionic is seeking a Senior Training & Development Manager to facilitate structured, fair, and productive meetings in support of training and content development efforts. This role ensures meetings follow established ground rules, OER and ADR guidelines, and remain focused and inclusive of all required stakeholders and SMEs. The Senior Training & Development Manager coordinates SME input, balances stakeholder participation, documents and distributes meeting notes for content verification, and enhances group productivity by fostering open, collaborative discussion.

Responsibilities:
- Facilitate structured, fair, and productive meetings in support of training and content development initiatives
- Establish and enforce meeting ground rules to ensure focused, inclusive, and effective collaboration
- Ensure meetings are conducted in accordance with Open Educational Resources (OER) and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) guidelines
- Coordinate and balance input from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to support high‑quality content development
- Leverage facilitation techniques to promote open dialogue, increase idea generation, and improve group productivity
- Document, collate, and distribute meeting notes and minutes for stakeholder review and content verification
- Lead high‑visibility and mission‑critical program activities with minimal oversight
- Provide strategic direction, expert judgment, and independent decision‑making within assigned scope of responsibility
- Oversee and coordinate the efforts of junior and mid‑level staff as required
- Ensure accountability for performance, deliverables, and outcomes of all staff assigned to a specific task or job
- Maintain compliance with contract requirements and security expectations, including U.S. citizenship and willingness to obtain required clearance
Qualifications:
- 10 years of relevant professional experience and a Master’s degree (MA/MS) in a related field
- Performs all functional duties independently with minimal oversight
- Leads high‑visibility and mission‑critical program activities
- Provides strategic direction and expert judgment within assigned scope of responsibility
- Oversees and coordinates the efforts of junior and mid‑level staff as required
- Accountable for the performance and deliverables of all staff assigned to a specific task or job
