Administrative Assistant I - Copy Room Operator
Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant-Copy Room Operator will oversee the efficient operation of the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) Headquarters copy center. The center handles a high volume of various print jobs, all of which must be completed quickly and accurately. The person will offer a range of copy-related services based on agency needs and program requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Receive, analyze, and schedule production of duplication jobs, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Operate and maintain duplicating and finishing equipment, performing minor maintenance as needed.
- Perform document assembly tasks such as collating, binding, laminating, and labeling.
- Maintain job production and equipment maintenance records, ensuring quality control.
- Monitor and restock supplies like paper, toner, and staples, coordinating with the warehouse or equipment POC.
- Notify clients of job completion, prepare shipments, and deliver documents to the mailroom when necessary. Receives documents for duplication in the USMS in-house copy center.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a high-volume copy center and customer service environment preferred.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 75 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and time management skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and operation of duplication equipment. High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of government policies and procedures related to copy and reproduction services.
- Proficiency in operating various duplication and finishing equipment.
- Ability to manage high-volume copy tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
